How we work with sources
Perucampeon protects every source. We use encrypted channels by default, never publish names without explicit consent, and verify documents through independent channels before publication. Whistleblowers in Spain's automotive, textile, and food sectors have trusted our newsroom since 2022.
We do not accept paid editorial coverage. Sponsored content is clearly labeled, produced by a separate desk, and never influences our reporting calendar. Corrections appear within 24 hours, with a dated editor's note attached to the original article.
Submission guidelines
Pitches should be 250 words maximum, include three source suggestions, and demonstrate original reporting. We commission reported features between 1,500 and 4,000 words. Spanish-language drafts are welcome; our editors handle translation in-house.
Photo essays must include captions, locations, and dates. Sport and consumer culture pitches arrive Monday through Thursday; manufacturing and industry pitches are reviewed on rolling deadlines throughout the month.

How fast do you respond to press inquiries?
Standard replies arrive within 24 hours on business days. Breaking news requests are flagged urgent and triaged within two hours by our duty editor in Madrid.
Can I submit anonymously?
Yes. Use our SecureDrop instance, Signal tip line, or ProtonMail address listed above. We never request your real name and strip metadata from every submission.
Do you accept op-eds from outside contributors?
We commission six op-eds per month from Spanish writers, academics, and industry practitioners. Unpaid contributions are not considered; rates start at €350.
Where is your editorial team based?
Our newsroom operates from Madrid and Barcelona, with regional correspondents in Valencia, Bilbao, and Seville covering sport and consumer stories across Spain's autonomous communities.
